Home Invasion in Mississauga With Gun Shots Fired

A video of 5 armed individuals approaching a home in Mississauga with the lead attempting to kick the front door in. When that didn’t work, he used an axe to break the glass and opened the lock from the inside. All 5 individuals entered the home but within seconds, they all run out. This occurred at 2:15am, the owner was home and was able to scare the criminals off. As they ran away, one brandished a gun and took one shot towards the house.

Police were able to recover the shell casing and will most likely run ballistics. The individuals ran to their getaway vehicle and fled.

It is absolutely terrifying for home owners to be woken by someone kicking their door down and holding an axe. This crime cannot be tolerated and we hope that the individuals are caught and charged to the full extent of the law. Firing a gun into the open is such a blatant disregard for safety as a stray bullet can cause death.
