Arson Suspect Sought After Two Fires Started At Richmond Hill Businesses
York Region Police are looking to identify an arson suspect. Damages in excess of $40,000 were done to commercial business near Yonge Street and High Tech Road. The incident occurred on 2024February04, at approximately 8:00pm.
Initial investigations done by the fire department conclude that the two fires were set deliberately. The arson suspect is described as a man wearing a white baseball cap, black jacket, cuffed blue jeans and black shoes.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity, or anyone with a video recording that captured any suspicious activity in the area, is asked to call 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7241.
